EDUCATION:
- Aleksandar Bozovic is a third year bachelor student at the “Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles” music school in Bruxelles in class of Valentina Igoshina.
- He has been playing the piano since he was five years old.
EXPERIENCES:
- participated twice in the “National Music Talent Competition” in Kotor. He participated in this festival for the first time in 2009 and won the Golden Lyre in the junior category. In 2011, he participated in all categories at the Kotor festival and also won the Golden Lyre with the maximum number of points.
- At the Little Mozart International Competition during the Crescendo International Music Meetings, which took place in New York on April 9 and 10, he won first place and the highest score. Thanks to this, he had the honor of participating in the final gala concert held at Carnegie Hall on May 28, 2011.
- He gave several performances, the most significant of which took place at the Ministry of Culture during the concert of the International Winners’ Meetings in 2011 and at the Festival in honor of World Music Day, which was held at the “Budo Tomovic” cultural center on June 21, 2011.
- had a successful international debut in 2012. He participated in the 4th International Rosario Marciano Piano Competition in 2012, which took place on August 5 at the Ehrbar Conservatory in Vienna. During the competition, pianists from eighteen countries performed, and Alexander was the only participant from the Balkans. In strong competition, he earns the honorary degree and achieves success once again on the international piano stage. He received remarkable reviews from his nine-member jury, composed of eminent professors from the prestigious global conservatory, for his performance.
- In 2013, Alexander delivered a notable performance on the international piano stage. He won first place at the PRIMA INTERNATIONAL MUSIC COMPETITION on January 12 in New York. As the first-place winner, he had the opportunity to perform for the second time at the gala concert held at Carnegie Hall on January 12.
- In 2014, another significant success on the international stage. He won a special prize with a maximum of 100 points at the Anemos Arts competition, held in Rome in May of this year. During this competition, among all the competitors and in all categories, Alexander won the only special prize.
- That same year, Aleksandar also gave several important performances in Montenegro, notably in Kotor, Niksic, and Podgorica, during the A Tempo festival – “Artists and Pianos.”
During the national competition in Herceg Novi in 2015, he won the Golden Lyre with the highest number of points. - During the International Piano Competition held in Tivat in 2016, he won third prize.
- During the “Piano Weekend” festival, which took place from January 27 to 29, 2017, at the “Frédéric Chopin” Conservatory in Paris, Alexander performed successfully by interpreting “Nocturne for J,” the work of the famous French contemporary music composer, Danijel Penjar.
- In 2017, during the national competition in Podgorica from April 25 to 28, Aleksandar won the Golden Lyre with the maximum points. During the same competition in the piano trio category, he won a special prize with Luka Perazic and Kosta Popovic.
- In 2018, he participated in May in two international competitions at the II International Piano Competition in Tivat, where he won the second prize. Then in Shkodra at the 17th international piano competition “Pjeter Gaci,” where he won third prize. Please note that the first two places were not awarded in his category; Aleksandar was the highest placed in his category.
