EDUCATION
- Stefania began studying the violin at age of six under the guidance of her father and family of musicians.
- Nowadays she is a classically trained violinist and pedagogue, holding two Masters degrees from the Koninklijk Conservatorium van Brussels and École Supérieure des Arts de Mons.
EXPERIENCE AND PRIZES
- Stefania Maccaferri’s extensive experience as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral violinist across Europe reflects her versatile artistry and deep commitment to her craft.
- She currently plays as a first violinist with the Alden Biesen Zomer-Opera festival and Canddle Light string quartet festival among others.
- Her career includes performances with the Camerata d’Anvers, Mannheim Philharmonic Orchestra, collaborating with renowned artists such as Pinchas Zuckermann and Maria João Pires the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra, and Alicante’s Philharmonic Orchestra among others.
- Stefania has been featured in prestigious festivals like the KlaraFestival and has led as concertmaster with the Orchestra Musica Viva.
